Friday night fun

Larry and I went to dinner last night at Claim Jumper.  Neither one of us had ever eaten there, so I figured his Birthday was a good opportunity to check it out.  We really enjoyed it!  We both had steak dinners with cheese potatocakes and cheesy garlic toast (very healthy...LOL).  Our dinners also came with seared veggies that were delicious!  We had an appetizer of onion rings too.  We really wanted to try out their desserts, but neither one of us had room!  We both brought home a box of leftovers which Larry had NEVER done before.  Very good food!

The boys also had a fun night.  My Mom took them along with my Brother, Sister-in-Law, and Nephew to...

Overnight beach trip

The scene:  Roadhouse 101 in Lincoln City
(I would not recommend this restaurant)

The Band:  The Gusto Brothers

Steve Lindstrom
(Larry & Tom went to high school with Steve)

Tom, Larry, and Steve

The Gusto Brothers were great, but Roadhouse 101 sucked!  They took an hour and a half to get our food to us.  Larry and Deb's steak were over-cooked and Tom and Heidi's seafood was frozen.  They just gave the poorest service EVER!

We went back to the house we were staying at and played some cards and went to bed.  Woke up this morning, had breakfast, and hit the outlet mall.  Larry bought me a Coach purse and matching wallet.  I got Carson some corderoy pants for $1.99 a pair (Of course they didn't have Adam's size!).  Then we came home.  It was a short, but fun trip!  I didn't step in the sand, but I did see the ocean!  LOL!

Tongue waving....?

When I drop the boys off at daycare every day, I wait for them to get inside the house and they wave at me and blow kisses and it generally takes f.o.r.e.v.e.r.!  They are such slow moving creatures!  Yesterday was no different except Adam kept wiggling his tongue at me and he finally yelled "I'm waving at you with my tongue!"  It was the most random thing, but every time I think about it I start cracking up.  I think he had his hands full with his backpack and blanket so tongue waving it was!  LOL!

Two years ago today!

Two years ago today Larry asked me to be his wife!  We have been married for almost nine months now and in ways it seems so much longer because I really can't imagine life without him or remember it before him.

Valentine's Day

Carson and Adam received cards from my Mom (the hugs & kisses card and $5 each) and my Dad (the monster truck card and $1 each).

Larry got me some cute things too...

My present!

I got a blue tooth that just clips to the visor in my car and I can say "Call Larry" and it dials him!
Not only is this a gift for me, but for my Mom too!  I usually call her when I'm driving, but haven't been lately because I'm not a big fan of my Jupiter Jack.

Larry's presents...

He loved the Oregon Ducks shirt and his new snuggie too...
