New Carpet

 We had new carpet installed upstairs and on the stairs yesterday!  It was a lot of work because we opted to take out the old flooring ourselves (money saver) and then we had to move all our furniture downstairs.  Larry and I slept on the mattress on the floor the night before and the dogs were very confused.  The poor dogs had to stay in their kennel all day long the day of installation.  Once they were done, there was a rush to get the beds put back together and everything set up normally again.  The carpet looks so good so it was worth it, but sooooo much work.  

Christmas Day

 Carson spent the night and slept in the dogs kennel...?  Anyway, he was up early so we got Adam up to open presents.  The house was a disaster area because we were preparing for the installation of new carpet.  We spoiled the boys as per usual!  Carson got a 65" t.v., Legos, a Broncos sweatshirt, money, etc.  Adam got a JBL bluetooth speaker, cleats, a Ridge wallet, money, etc.

After presents, donuts, and dressing the dogs up we went to my Mom's for dinner.  She gifted the boys money and Hayley brought the most beautiful cake.  I sure wish I would have taken more than two pictures!  We had a wonderful time and Hayley loved the presents we gave her.  It was fun to shop for a girl.

Christmas Eve

We went to Renee's house this year for Christmas Eve.  We had a fun time!  Trisha, Nate, and Taylor posed for some awesome 'awkward family photos.'  Taylor received Barbies, LOL dolls, and Squishmallows.  

December Date

Larry and I hit up Ankeny Vineyards last night for a few hours of conversation, music, good food, and  even better wine.  We were due for a little date! 

Carson in Disneyland

 Carson and Hayley just returned from a week in Southern California!  They visited Universal Studios, California Adventure, and Disneyland.  Here are a few of their cute pictures!

Adam's Birthday

 We celebrated Adam's 19th Birthday early while he was home for Thanksgiving break!  We had beef stroganoff per his request.  He received money, fleece lined sweats, gloves, and more!  Additionally, a care package was sent to his school so he would get something closer to his Birthday.

Carson's Birthday

Carson turned 22 yesterday!  Carson and Hayley came over last night to celebrate with pizza, ice cream, and presents!  Carson was spoiled with money, a Star Wars Lego advent calendar, new Nike's, and more!  

Good Friends + Good Food = Good Time

 We went over to Corey and Melody's for dinner and drinks last night!  Tom and Heidi were there too.  We had a really fun time.  We hot tubbed and spent the night.  Love spending time with good friends.

My Birthday

I turned the big 45 yesterday!  I woke up in the night to use the restroom and both my night owl boys had texted me already!  Love them!  Larry made a sweet Instagram post, sent me flowers, and had already surprised me the week earlier with a spa day in Indio.  Of course, I took advantage of my free Birthday coffee and work spoiled me with some new Hey Dude's!  After work, Larry made steaks with sauteed mushrooms for dinner.  He is the best! 

Indio

 Larry and I just got home from a week in Indio, California.  We had airfare credit and really needed to get away for a bit.  We chose a warm spot!  We cooked a lot in our room and had a super low key trip.  We did visit the Living Desert Zoo where you can feed the giraffes.  I thought that was the highlight of the trip along with Larry surprising me with a three hour spa morning for my Birthday.  Larry thought the highlight was stopping at the mall and getting two new pair of Vans!  Ha ha!  We mainly laid by the pool and relaxed.  We are very good at that!
