Halloween

Halloween was very low key this year.

My boys didn't dress up, didn't go trick-or-treating, and didn't go to any parties.  At work, we coordinated to be m&m's!  That's it!

Scout-6 months

Scout is six months old today!

He sure is cute AND HYPER!  He is starting to get our routine though and has sweet moments where he cuddles up with us.   We really can't imagine life without him!

Final October Weekend

On Saturday, we met up with Tom and Heidi Parsons at Bjornson Vineyard.  We had a fun time and you can see how fun by the blurry group picture!  Ha ha ha!  We all did a tasting, split a bottle of Chardonnay, and a had a meat & cheese tray.  

On Sunday, my three boys surprised me with a trip to the pumpkin patch!  It ended up being a quick trip as we didn't want to do the bouncy house, dark maze, or corn maze.  We got our pumpkins though and a few cute pictures!

Adam-Freshman Football

Adam got more playing time as the season went on.  He played both defense and offense at times.  I heard his name over the loud speaker a few times at one of the games!  We had great weather all season!  The last game was the coldest at 55* and some rain.

Homecoming 2018

Carson went to Homecoming with his girlfriend, Hazel.  Adam decided to go around 3:00 p.m. the day of Homecoming, so we had to come up with a dress shirt that fit him on the fly (hence the jeans as well).

Winery Day

Larry and I became members at Bjornson Vineyards, so we have been inviting friends with us to enjoy free tastings.  Yesterday, we had Larry's co-worker, Laura and her boyfriend, Scott join us.  It was a gorgeous day, so we sat out on the patio.  I even got a little sunburn.  We enjoyed a meat & cheese tray...or two...along with a couple bottles of wine.  

Carson's Senior Pictures

We received Carson's senior picture package this week!  We have 50 awesome pictures to go through and decide how we want to use.  Every time I peruse the pictures, I find a new favorite!  His pictures were taken by Felicia who owns and operates Feedle Bee Photography.  I would highly recommend her! 

October at the Ocean

About a week ago, the dogs woke us up a few times in the night making Larry and I both a little cranky.  I decided to book us a hotel at the coast to get away for a night.  We ended up at The Channel House in Depoe Bay.  We had breakfast and shopped at the outlet mall before checking into our room.  We brought a picnic and our own wine with us so we could enjoy the tub on the deck and the view.  The weather was amazing and we even saw a few whales.  We had a nice little getaway including a Taco Bell run at 1:00 in the morning!  The next morning, we were kind of lazy getting up.  The weather had changed and was more typical of Oregon.  We headed home, got back in our pajamas, and watched football.
