Mobile Monday

I got a new computer and it has super cool screen savers and backgrounds!

I bought a bin to store lunch items for the boys.  It will make life easier come time to pack those lunches.  There is applesauce, ritz bits cheese, fruit snacks, handi-snacks, mint oreos, cheese nips, raisins, chocolate chip cookies, and chips!

The Steelers and the Broncos played yesterday.  Larry's best friend, Corey loves the Steelers and he loves the Broncos so there was a bit of teasing going on.  For the record, the Broncos won!

Take a Hike

Last Saturday, Larry and I both had the day off with no kiddos so we went on a hike to Drift Creek Falls.  We drove the looooong way there, but still had a good time.  Copper pulled us most of the way so we were very tired by the time we got back to the van.  Luckily, I packed us an awesome lunch of sandwiches, string cheese, grapefruit, and wheat thins.

View of the bridge from the creek, the waterfall is just out of view...

Mobile Monday

The Hubs made me breakfast!

The local library called stating that Carson won a prize from the Summer reading program. I was thinking it might be something really cool, but it was a t-shirt and BIG sunglasses!  He will love it though!

Mobile Monday

The book I'm reading now.

That is all I've got this week!  My boys are at their Dad's for two weeks and it's really quiet around our  house.  I plan to finish this book today.

Secret project....

We made stepping stones as a surprise for my Mom's Birthday!  The boys had a lot of fun and I got to mix cement for the first time ever!

Here are a few pictures of the process...

What would we do without the internet?

My plan was to take the boys shopping for new school shoes today or to the movies, but I'm not feeling 100%.  Bummer.  I've had a fever hovering around 100.2 degrees and I have no clue why.  I have no other symptoms except I'm a little achy.  I'm sticking around the house just to rest up some, but that didn't mean we couldn't go shoe shopping!

The boys huddled around the computer with me and we debated different shoes, sizes, slip-on or tie shoes for quite some time.  We finally ended up with some great choices that I think (hope) will last quite a bit of the school year.

Back from camp!

The boys are home from Butte Creek Camp!  They had a lot of fun and were worn out!  The advantage of sending them to camp where family is?  A lot of pictures!

Here is a glimpse of the camp...

Carson rode a horse twice.  He had to do some work in the barn to earn one of his rides so he swept.  Here are a few pictures of his camp adventure.  As always you can click on the collage to make it larger.

Adam only rode a horse once, but there are several pictures of it!  LOL!  Adam was the youngest child there so I think he had everyone wrapped around his little finger!

I also wanted to post a few other random pictures that I thought were funny...

Carson making funny faces...

Isn't this pitiful???

Think he's hot?

I think the boys bought the Trading Post out of all their junk food!

Adam picked me a flower.  He does it all the time and I think it's so sweet.

The boys go to camp!

We dropped the boys off at camp today.  My brother runs the camp and my Mom is the office manager.  The boys will be staying in my Mom's cabin and I know they will have a blast.

My Mom made them super cute name tags

They went with water bottles and slushees!

I'm sure the boys are going to have a fantastic time, I can't wait to hear about all of their adventures!
