Larry did a ton of research and opted for an Aquasana full house water purifier. It took a long time for it to arrive and several trips to Home Depot to get the right sized plumbing, not to mention weeks for a GFI outlet to be installed! The stars all aligned and as of today we have purified water!!!
Yesterday, we had blinds installed on all of our windows. It was an incredibly easy process! The salesman came to the house with samples, we chose what we wanted, he measured, and left. We opted for blackout blinds in both bedrooms and a blind you can see out for the living room and kitchen.
A week later he was back to install everything! What a difference they make! Our house is feeling more homey every day!
Yesterday, we obtained our RFC numbers which are like social security numbers so we can buy a car, etc. We are not allowed to work with them which is a-okay by us. It was a long process of waiting in multiple lines...beginning outside of the building, even with an appointment. We did hire someone to help us with this and I'm so glad we did. Afterwards, we went out to lunch to celebrate!
After eight weeks our dryer finally arrived!!! So glad to be able to dry our towels and blankets!
We ordered the cutest sign for the entrance into our rooftop area. Larry hung it today and it's my new favorite thing!

We ran some errands today which also means we had a little lunch date! We went to immigration and to Sears. Sears is downtown so when the La Paz sign was free, I saw my chance for a picture! After our shopping, we went to lunch at Tiki Todd's.
I went to a paint class yesterday. I saw it online and thought it would be good for me to meet people, plus I wanted to try acrylic painting. I met several nice ladies, had a great lunch, and we all painted.
