Wine Tasting

Yesterday, Larry and I met up with Mitchell and Amy Herzog to go wine tasting.  I wasn't so sure I would like it, but I ended up really enjoying it!

We went to Willamette Valley Vineyards, Vitis Ridge, and then ate lunch at Seven Brides Brewing.  We spent like two hours at lunch just taking our time and talking.  I personally enjoyed Willamette Valley Vineyards the most and they had a wine that Larry and I both loved.  

We then went on to the Oregon Garden to attend the wedding of Shane Davidson and Ashley Graham.  Ashley is a co-worker of ours and Shane is the son of Larry's boss.  We had a fun time and it was a beautiful location.  I didn't take any pictures at the wedding.  I just enjoyed the people watching, etc.  Larry and I danced and everyone took pictures in the photo booth.  

Flower Delivery

I was feeling a bit overwhelmed this morning between work, kids, laundry, household chores, etc., etc., etc.

Larry realized I was having a rough day and these arrived for me at work!  I love my husband, he is a good guy and I'm truly blessed to have him in my life!

First Family Boating Day

Today we took the boat to Devil's Lake with the whole family...minus Copper!

We had a good time even though it was a bit windy and chilly.  We drove around a bit and then stopped to eat lunch.  I packed roast beef sandwiches, a fall trail mix, cookies, and drinks.

Then it was time to try the inter-tube!  Adam went first, then Carson, and then me!  It was fun and no one fell off!

We swam a bit and drove around a bit more before heading in for the day.

Beach Weekend

Larry and I spent this weekend at the coast and had a great time!  We had a free night at the Starfish Manor so we decided to pay for one extra night and make a weekend of it!

On Friday we got to the hotel early, but they let us check in and helped figure out parking for our boat (yes, we bought a boat last weekend!).  We got all settled and decided to have an early dinner.  We went to Pier 101 and ate entirely too much.  After eating we hit the outlet mall where I bought a sweater and Larry bought me some boots.  He got a pair of shoes too.  We went back to our room and walked on the beach at sunset.  It was GORGEOUS!!!  We hit the Jacuzzi tub too!

Saturday was all about getting out on our boat.  We wanted to get to the boat ramp early to avoid the crowds, but little did we know...we had the whole lake to ourselves all day pretty much!  We had so much fun just driving around and then stopping to float, talk, eat, take pictures, etc.  Larry had a new stereo installed and he played with that.  The only casualty of the day was my heart sunglasses.  Larry's sweatshirt started to fly up so I went to grab it and my sunglasses flew off my face!

After getting back to the room we were a little sunburned and a lot tired so we had pizza delivered and watched the sunset from our balcony.  I hit the Jacuzzi tub and we just watched movies.  It was VERY relaxing!

This morning we were lazy.  Had leftover pizza for breakfast and coffee.  We watched the NFL morning show we like and then headed home.
