Christmas Day

 We went to Brad & Ryan's on Christmas Day.  We had prime rib, mashed potatoes, rolls, and salad.  It was all delicious!  My Mom gifted the boys $100 each in a super cute frame that she made!  I made Chase a "punch-a-cup" game.  I told him that he got to punch ten cups and keep the prizes inside each cup.  When he was done, he got to punch the five remaining cups to see what he missed out on, but he got to keep those prizes too (of course!).  The cups held money, lottery tickets, gift cards, candy, etc.

Christmas Morning

Santa came to our house!  The boys must have been good this year because they were spoiled!  Adam's big gift was a 43' smart t.v. and Carson's was a gaming chair.  

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was very low key this year as Larry's Mom and Uncle decided to stay home.  With Covid numbers rising in our area, it makes sense for them to stay safe.  Trisha, Nate, and Taylor came over.  Carson also spent the night.  Larry made us ham, scalloped potatoes, stuffing, and bacon wrapped asparagus.  We always play two rounds of a white elephant gift exchange.  Carson and Adam participated for the first time this year.  Adam brought the "Shut Up, Karen" shirt that everyone wanted.  Trisha stole it from Larry so Larry got some scratch it tickets with a tiny waffle maker.  He ended up winning $500 on one of the tickets!!!  Larry got Taylor a megaphone that we were very happy to send home with her!  Ha ha ha!  It was so loud!  We had a fun time!  

 

Adam's Birthday!

 Adam is 17 today!

It feels like we have been celebrating all week long.  The other night while he was out with friends I put up and decorated his very own tree for his bedroom.  When he got home, I hid in his room and recorded his reaction.  It was cute because he gasped in surprise and then he realized I was in his room recording which scared him half to death!  

The next night we celebrated with beef stroganoff, cupcakes, and presents.  We gifted Adam some Nike shorts, Nike Christmas socks, and AirPod Pros.  He was very happy with that.  Of course, he also received money from grandparents, etc.
