Several months ago we ordered a large canvas for our neighbor to paint for us, however she didn't love the large size. We switched it up to two smaller paintings for her to paint and when we went to return the larger canvas they said to keep it. Larry and I decided that we were each going to paint half without the other seeing as a fun little activity. Larry painted the top portion first, waited for it to dry, and taped it off so I couldn't see anything. I then painted the lower portion, waited for it to dry, and covered it with a large beach towel. We then revealed to each other our paintings. I would like to add that painting is hard! I'm used to having an opportunity to wipe off/erase a mistake, but that is not the case with paint! Larry put a cute L+K on his painting and I made two of my beach umbrellas about sports...green and yellow for the Oregon Ducks and orange and navy for the Denver Broncos. This will hang in our living room.
