Indio

 Larry and I just got home from a week in Indio, California.  We had airfare credit and really needed to get away for a bit.  We chose a warm spot!  We cooked a lot in our room and had a super low key trip.  We did visit the Living Desert Zoo where you can feed the giraffes.  I thought that was the highlight of the trip along with Larry surprising me with a three hour spa morning for my Birthday.  Larry thought the highlight was stopping at the mall and getting two new pair of Vans!  Ha ha!  We mainly laid by the pool and relaxed.  We are very good at that!

Halloween Care Packages

Adam is a spoiled boy!  Aunt Ryan and Uncle Brad sent a fun Halloween care package and so did we!  I fit tons of candy and a Nike windbreaker in the re-purposed Tide container.  I figured I better treat Carson and Hayley too so they got little bags with candy and a Target gift card.

Wonderful Weed Trip

 We drove down to Weed this weekend with Grandma Sue in tow!  We actually took her Subaru which was a much smoother and more cost effective ride!  Even with Larry going 100+ mph!  We drove down on Saturday, watched the game, took Adam to dinner, and spent the night.  It was a great visit!  The weather was 80+ degrees, Adam was in a good mood, and it felt so much better than our last trip down.  They lost, but it was still a fun time!  Grandma Sue got to see Adam's dorm (we took a lot of treats and drinks!) and the town.  We all got to meet Adam's roommate, Karson.  An all around fun weekend!

Fall Date

 Larry and I went to Ankeny Vineyards yesterday as a little date getaway!  As always, we had a good time!
