Halloween

The boys chose their own costumes this year.  Adam and I went online a few weeks ago and he picked out his costume.  Carson decided at the last minute to dress up and came up with his own.

Adam chose the Scream costume, but opted for the creepy lamb mask instead of the typical Scream mask.  Carson decided to be the Terminator.  Carson went to a sleep over and Adam trick-or-treated in our neighborhood with a friend.  Larry and I passed out candy, watched t.v., and had pizza for dinner.

Pumpkin Carving!

Last night, we decided to carve pumpkins!  We had Taco Bell for dinner, yummy cupcakes, and of course I baked some of the pumpkin seeds.  Adam loves those pumpkin seeds!  Our pumpkins turned out pretty cute and Carson stuck to the theme of a huge mouth for his pumpkin (check out previous years!).

Fall Fishing

Yesterday morning we got up early and went fishing at Buena Vista Park.  It's about 10 minutes from our house and it's neat to watch the ferry there.  We had all sorts of weather....pouring rain to sunny skies!  I got cold so I went on a walk to warm up.  I picked up all the pretty leaves and twigs I saw to create my fall "L+K!"  Once again, we didn't catch anything....

Pumpkin Patch 2014

We went to the pumpkin patch today!  It was actually hot....in mid October!  It was very crowded and of course, the boys liked the mazes and pedal karts as opposed to the slides and farm animals!  Ha ha ha!  Those stinkers even caught a picture of me coming out of the porta-potty!  

We bought 77 pounds worth of pumpkins that we will carve soon! 

Boss's Day

My staff surprised me today with presents for Boss's Day.  Honestly, I don't know how they remember this day, but it's so sweet that they do!  They gave me a cute little plant, crown earrings that I love, a candle, and body frosting (lotion).  All of it is perfect and so me...especially the earrings.  I keep joking with them that they need to water my plants!  Ha ha ha!
