Beach trip

Carson didn't have school on Friday (04-26-13) and I took the day off from work so I decided to let Adam skip school so we could do something fun.  We ran to the beach for the day.  When we arrived it was very foggy so we looked around in the shops (candy store was the favorite!) and had lunch at Burger King.  We hung out on the beach for a few hours and then came home.  It was a fun day and the weather was cooperative!  The fog eventually burnt off and the boys played in the water.

Random updates...

A lot of these are Instagram photos, but they give a glimpse into our lives for the past few weeks.

Larry bought us a new expensive vacuum!  It works wonderfully!  Of course, it went on sale 2 days after he bought it so I went back and got $100 back!

Steffanie who is my assistant manager at work is having a baby and is waiting to find out the gender!  It was so hard to buy unisex items, but I purchased the diaper bag she registered for.

 Steffanie's baby shower (04-20-2013)

My Mom and I had pedicures and I thought the lotions were pretty!

My pedicure!

My Mom had knee surgery on 04-22-2013.  Larry and I drove her.  She has been a trooper through it!

Flowers from our yard...literally the only ones!  LOL!

A few funnies

The other day Adam and I ran into town while Carson opted to stay home.  We had errands to run and Adam wanted to buy a game with his money.  We went to Wendy's for a chocolate Frosty too...those things are awesome and only 99 cents!!!  We sat inside to eat our Frosty and Adam told me about finishing his Power Point presentation on the state of Washington.  He told me all the other kids wanted him to type for them because he types so fast.  I was and am still amazed that he knows how to do a Power Point presentation because I sure don't!  He's nine!  Crazy!

Then a little while later while at a red light he asks me why everyone has "four times four" on their car.  Ummm...4x4!  Ha ha ha!  I had to explain that 4x4 allows you to go on rugged roads, etc.  I'm sure it has something to do with the four tires too, but I don't know!
