Easter

We had a nice Easter at my Mom's house.  It was warm and sunny outside, so we decided to eat outdoors!  We had ham, scalloped potatoes, salad, rolls, and various snacks.  Plus dessert! 

 

 My Mom gave each boy a teeny tiny basket with a few candies and $5.00.  She also made the cutest fruit tray that I had to take a picture of!

 

The boys received swim trunks, a summer outfit, Lego minifigs, gum, and candy from the Easter Bunny.  The Easter Bunny must have been in a bright/pink mood because both boys received very bright swim trunks with pink on them.

 

 

 

Eggstra fun!

We dyed Easter eggs today.  I'm wondering if this might be the last year as they didn't seem quite as interested or entertained with it.  Who knows?!?!?  I do know that they were cute and I got to take their pictures, which I love!

Note to the future me:  Carson is showered and his hair is combed.  This is just the way it is right now.

New bed

We recently purchased a new bed for Carson because he was outgrowing his twin sized one!  We opted for a metal frame thinking it would be more durable with soon-to-be teenage boys in the house.  Larry put it all together last night and rearranged Carson's room so it would fit!

 

Carson's room looks better, but the rest of the house doesn't!  Ha ha ha!  All of his extra stuff is in the hallway, etc.!

 

 

In this process, Carson decided to get rid of some stuffed animals.  He tried to get rid of his little bear though and I wouldn't let him.  He loved this guy when he was little!!!  I told him that I would hold onto him if he wanted, but the little guy made his way onto the bed.

 

Christopher Titus

For Larry's Birthday I gave him tickets to see the comedian Christopher Titus.  His show was tonight so we left early and went to dinner at Claim Jumper.  We had appetizers and the best steak dinners!

 

Then we headed to Helium Comedy Club for the show.  We got some drinks and relaxed in their lounge area until it was time to go in the showroom.  We had reserved seating and they took us to our table that was literally front row, right by the stage.  Larry put his feet on the stage during the show.  Christopher Titus talked to me during the show.  It was so funny and a really good time.  Larry purchased his DVD set, had him sign it, and we had our picture taken with him too.

 

Very fun night!  Would TOTALLY do it again!
