Sunday Shootin'!

Yesterday, we went shooting up out of Scotts Mills.  It was only my second time, but first time with my new gun.  Larry and I both purchased new hand guns recently and wanted to try them out.  We got lucky weather wise as it only sprinkled on us twice.  It has been raining for days so we really were lucky!

My Mom came along with us and we met up with Corey & Melody

Construction

Life for me has been pretty crazy and loud lately!  My office is being re-modeled.  We are talking COMPLETELY re-modeled.  It is LOUD.  They have had to cut the concrete floors to put in plumbing, they are using metal studs so every time they drill it makes a crazy noise, and construction guys in general do NOT use indoor voices.  Add in all the beeping that their machines make and you start to go a bit crazy!

We are trying to make the most of it and take funny pictures when we can.  I made the girls a relaxation basket as they had to work through spring break (the boys got to travel...stinkers!).  Sometimes, I come home and just want silence which is really conducive with having a family.  Note the sarcasm there!

Here are some of the funny pictures we have taken.  We have taken full advantage of any worker that let's us use machinery or write in cement!

Oh yeah...I'm thinking we are just at the half way point, we have several more weeks to go!

Choir Concert

Carson had a choir concert last night where he had a small solo.  He did such a good job!  The funniest part was when he stepped up front to perform his solo, I had our large camera ready for pictures and my cell phone ready for video.  He looked up and saw me with two cameras pointed in his direction and started to laugh.  He had to calm down quickly for his solo.

Larry's 45th Birthday

Larry's Birthday fell on a Wednesday this year which isn't a prime party day.  The boys go to their Dad's on Wednesday evenings so I decided to make dinner at home for us.  I made ham, scalloped potatoes, broccoli, and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Larry opened his gifts which were a shiatsu massager and several accessories for the gun he wants to get.

On Friday, my Mom brought over an awesome Dive sweatshirt for Larry and then Trisha stopped by with a Broncos fathead for him!  His Mom had already given him a Nu-Wave Oven and he had received money from him uncle and my Dad.  SPOILED.

Last night, we went to Independence Hops and Barrel for drinks with a few friends.  Lots of shots were had by Larry and he and Maria thought it would be funny to change shirts for a few minutes.  It was hilarious!
