Mobile Monday

Adam's artwork tickled me; I'm pretty
sure he imagined these guys fighting...

Larry bought me new tires because the cords/wires were
showing on my old ones.  My car runs so much smoother now.

New plastic cups for the boys.
Carson uses blue and Adam uses green.
This helps them to figure out which cup is theirs and it helps
me to determine who didn't take their cup to the sink.

Pretties

I got a few new jewelry items while in Mexico...

This set is my anniversary gift...kind of.

These earrings were too cute to pass up...

We bought a few other inexpensive beaded bracelets/necklaces, but the items above are my faves!

Mobile Monday

Cabo airport

We bought Bimbo bread in Mexico

We also bought gum

Larry brought me these in bed to snack on while he packed up all of our stuff!

When picking Adam up from school, we spotted Carson during his swimming lesson.  All 3rd graders have a free swimming lesson course during school!  Weird, but cool!  Carson is next to the grown up man throwing in the red flotation device.

A pasta mix that I "spiced up" with chicken, carrots, broccoli, and black olives.

Adam showing off the little trinkets we brought home for the boys from Cabo!

Adam playing Xbox

Defrosted cake from our wedding day.  I tasted the frosting, and well it tasted as though it had been in the freezer for a year...

Twelve

Happy 12 months or one year anniversary to Larry and I!

We have had a crazy, busy, and fun year!  We tore up our back yard and laid down sod.  We took the boys to the beach, zoo, park, pumpkin patch, and several shopping trips/meals out were had.  We survived Trisha being in a car accident and Larry's Dad having a heart attack.  Larry and I traveled to Seattle to watch the Broncos play a pre-season game,  to the beach overnight with friends, to the Bahamas with my whole family, to Hoodsport, WA to get our scuba diving certification, and most recently traveled to Cabo San Lucas.  We watched several hours of T.V. (LOL) and spent a lot of time on-line playing Bejeweled Blitz!  We made it through a lot of colds, three cases of Bronchitis (2 for me and 1 for Larry), and a few barfing boys.  We got a new washer and dryer with our wedding money.  We had a Halloween party, small Birthday parties for the boys, and Christmas Eve at our house.  Larry bought a new (to him) car.  Larry got fired.  I was promoted to Branch Manager.  Larry played a show with his band.  We went down long scary slides in the Bahamas and signed I love you to each other under water in the Sea of Cortez.

I love sharing the every day tasks to the big adventures with my soul mate!

Happy Anniversary!

Two videos from Cabo

The first is just the waves crashing, the video doesn't do it justice! They crashed so hard and it was so loud! Swimming is not allowed and I know why after visiting!

The second is of the sunset cruise we went on. There were dolphins all around our boat and I also caught some of the dancing/partying going on. I like to call this one "Dolphins just wanna have fun!" LOL!

Cabo San Lucas-Day 7 & 8

We got up early on Monday, ate breakfast, and listened to a dumb time share presentation (we got our two dives and sunset cruise for $100 instead of $300+).

We then hit up the pool.  We were getting drinks at the swim up bar and a lady started a conversation with me.  Turns out Larry went to high school with her and her husband (Chris and Gidget) and we sat in the pool all day talking.  It was a little overcast so we got way sunburnt, but we had a good time.  I finally had to excuse myself so I could get ready for our sunset cruise.  Larry came up a bit later and got ready.

We took a cab into Cabo because Larry brought jeans and a long sleeved shirt as his "dress up" clothes.  LOL!  We boarded the Cabo Escape for our sunset dinner cruise.  We had fajitas for dinner and lots of Pepsi, but the majority of people were drinking like crazy.  We did see dolphins all around us which was very cool.  The main entertainment was one specific drunk lady who was falling all over and eventually hit her head hard on the dance floor.

After our cruise we headed back to the hotel and changed clothes.  We met up with Chris and Gidget again and talked out on the sand until almost one in the morning.

We got up the next morning and it was time to pack and head back home.  Larry did the majority of packing while I laid in bed!  LOL!

We took a few scenic pictures...

A Modelo distribution plant out of our shuttle window

A view from the window on the plane

We got home without one bag that didn't make it through customs, but it showed up on our door step by the next morning.  We had a great time and can't wait to go back!

Cabo San Lucas-Day 6

We got up early again to catch the bus into Cabo so we could go diving again.  We got there, got geared up, and waited.  LOL!  Everything is not on time in Mexico.  We dove with two other guys from Colorado who were big Broncos fans so that kept Larry entertained.  We went out on a small boat, stopping first at Pelican Rock.  We went down and it was a great dive!  We went down to 60 ft. and our dive master Lars took several pictures of us.

We saw a lot of fish and an eel too!

The second dive was at Land's End and was more difficult.  I didn't enjoy this dive as much because the current/waves/surf/whateveryouwanttocallit was too much.

After diving, we headed back to our hotel.  We ate at Mama Mia's (actually had Mexican food) and then walked on the beach.

A guy was out spear-fishing and caught a mantaray.

We then hit up the pool & hot tub for several hours.  Larry enjoyed playing with the camera underwater.  We have a lot of picture of my headless body in a swimsuit that won't be posted here!  LOL!

After we swam, we walked over to the mini-mart which is connected with the hotel to get some snacks.  We headed up to our room and watched t.v.  I snapped this photo of the hotel in the dark.
