Tattoo Time

Larry got a new tattoo today at Black Diamond Tattoo.  It's in honor of his friend, Tony Rowell who passed away on November 9, 2024.  The tattoo cost 2400 pesos which is approximately $120 U.S. dollars.  Of course, we gave a tip and Larry bought a Black Diamond t-shirt too.  We ate at Tex Burger afterwards which was super delicious.

January Beach Day

Went to a 'new to us' beach yesterday with Lorne, Joy, Rick, and Trish.  It was perfect weather, super quiet, and just lovely.  There are no restaurants so we took snacks and drinks.  We saw three other people.  It was the perfect beach to go to on a Saturday.

New Years Eve + Day

We went to Joy and Lorne's for New Years Eve.  Todd and Sandra were there also.  We had pierogis, chicken nuggets, veggies, and we took a fruit tray and cheese ball with crackers.  We came home around 10:45 p.m., went up to our roof for a bit, and then went to bed to relax.  A million fireworks went off at midnight so we were glad we were home to comfort the dogs.  

New Years Day was very relaxed.  Larry made us breakfast and we watched an episode of Squid Games.  We had sandwiches, broccoli salad, and bacon covered water chestnuts for dinner.  We watched a cute movie called 'Holiday in the Wild."
