Crafty Kati

 I've participated in several craft days in the past few months and need to share pictures of my creations!  I even tried crocheting, but I'm not sure that's for me!  Ha ha ha!  I love to decoupage items or paint rocks though!  I decoupaged a vase and wine bottle.  I've painted so many rocks.  I made a wall hanging with shells, green sea glass, and wire.  I glued painted rocks together to create a cactus in a planter.  It's amazing how relaxing this is!  Being creative is good for the soul, even if it's not perfect.

Our 16th Anniversary

We went to Tres Virgenes last night to celebrate our anniversary.  We had wine, bread, caesar salad, our entrees (Larry had steak, Kati had chicken fettuccine), and a delicious french toast dessert.  Tres Virgenes is one of our favorite restaurants in La Paz and our "go to" for special occasions.  We exchanged cards and had a sweet little date night.

Coyote Beach Day

 We went to Coyote Beach with Todd, Sandra, and Terra yesterday.  It was a lovely day!  We scoured the shoreline for shells/rocks, we ate our picnic lunch, and we floated in the water for hours.  It was perfection!  It is a little bit of a drive, but the cute cacti made up for it! 

Side Table

 Larry decided to make a side table for our living room.  He bought the supplies and got to work!  It turned out sooooo good!  We chose to paint the table in the colors of perejil and profunda, which translates to parsley and deep.  The paint was a perfect match to our living room chairs and current artwork.  We added some other paint to spice it up and TA DA!!!  Larry may add a back piece to the bottom portion to hide cords and give it a more finished look.

Birthday Doggies

 Ranger turned 10 yesterday and Scout turned 7 yesterday.  I made doggy pupcakes to celebrate; they are made of three ingredients-eggs, shredded carrots, and peanut butter.  Of course, we had to have a little photo session before. I had to be quick though because these guys wanted their cake!!!
